Do you believe in the death of some forums?

I’ve noticed some forums where only a few individuals are active (mostly spammers), and new users rarely join. These individuals have been participating for years, and 90% of their content is outdated.
Do you agree that these forums are effectively dead?
Does anyone know why they are still active and accessible to users?
